The functions of Arc4You have a modular concept and can be called from other scripts using lists of arguments and return values. The extension ArcLib.avx contains all these functions without the 'ballast' of dialogs and scripts for user interaction. 

The functions in the above mentioned Arc4You extensions can only be called through dialogs. In this version you can use all functions directly in your own scripts and even in other applications (e.g. in Visual Basic or MS Access). This version contains all six above mentioned Arc4You extensions based on a common library of modular functions, a detailed documentation of all arguments and return values of all scripts, example scripts and a Visual Basic module for an easy use of these functions within other applications).
